GUEST BOOK

Debra thinking of you today. Online looking for you I found the sadness that you my friend had passed away. I must tell you I am shocked. You are the second friend that I found that passed away. Life is short. You were a wonderful person smart and a great worker. My best to Paul and your puppy. May you thrive in Heaven.

- Lanet Forrest, Marietta, Georgia

May Jehovah God comfort you during this time of loss. Though there may be little that can be said or done to ease your pain, may you find comfort in knowing that many care and sympathize with your sadness. Always know that Jehovah God is with you to strengthen and guide you. May your trust in his promise of a resurrection bring you peace. – Acts 24:15

- K.L. Banks, Decatur, GA

I worked with Deborah in the economic development business for many years and was deeply saddened to hear that she was ill and even more so that she passed at such a young age. Deborah was a joy to work with. She always had a beautiful smile and a calm demeanor no matter what the situation. I remember the first time I ever saw her... maybe 25 years ago. She was that kind of person. A woman whom you could never forget the first time you met her. She had that kind of impact on people. Much love to Deborah and her family.

- Tommy Wade, Atlanta, GA

Dear Paul. As you so well know, we both share the same grief and sorrow by losing a loved one. Time will help, the sorrow will not be forgotten, but life will get better. As a co-worker for twenty years, I shall not forget her seriousness and professional attitude to improve our state. Respectfully and sincerely, Jim

Deborah was an amazing sister, family member and friend. She was a role model in love of family, striving in her work, generous to family members, and always sharing of her herself. Along with her sister Judy Head and name sake niece, Deborah Jones, she continued to make the effort to keep the large family together in helping to provide huge holiday gatherings. Being an avid reader herself, Deborah was always sharing her favorite author or books with loved ones. She loved to cook, collect recipe books and share them. She and Paul were getting settled into their beautiful home in Savannah. She never missed an opportunity to share of herself with family. Deborah was greatly loved and her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh will be missed.

I have looked at this beautiful photograph over and over, trying to put into words my thoughts. Sadly, there are no words that can express the feeling of loss and sadness that all who loved her must be experiencing. Deborah and I met in 10th grade in high school. We bonded immediately and that bond has endured 52 years. How lucky I was to be allowed to have this amazing woman in my life. We shared some wonderful memories and had great laughs over the years. Deborah, I will hold you in my heart always and will miss you forever. My heartfelt condolences to Paul and the entire family. She loved you all. Marn
